Having a rough time of it lately...

You know what . This might seem odd , but when im poorly i get less anxious . I think its because i have something else to concentrate on . I dont really get 'sick' that often just the normal winter colds etc . Hope your much better now Diva ( love your name )

Insomnia

Hmmmm the lovely insomnia . Bane of my life . I have this problem since having children i think . I get sooo jealous when i know how much family members can sleep at a time . If i get off to sleep ok i end up waking countless times a night so give up and do housework in peace and quiet . But when i cant drop off and im NOT anxious i watch a movie and move onto power reading till the book hits my face lol. I cannot stand warm milk so thats a no go . Listening to music is a good one as it does distract 'thoughts' . Used to have the radio on but nooooooo good what-so-ever . You hear news and weather reports which sparks off your mind as well . Hmmm im not much help here but i do empathise with you . Hope you are sleeping better now .

BAD START TO NEW YEAR

Jo , sounds like you are having an awful time of it . I said the same thing as you this year . I wanted a really fresh start . Two Christmases ago i lost my 3year cousin ( his nana and gramp died a couple of months earlier ) Thats ehn i started getting a panic/anxious disorder . I fought it for so long and was looking forward to a fresh New Year this one past and Bam in december i had a misscarriage and lost ,my nan in a week . Now im back to being the axious wreck i was two years ago . But AM determined to get better . Pain dosnt help you , i have a back problem myself and am on the waiting list for Physhio (went a couple of years ago and agree OUCH . You do leave in ten fold the pain you went in with). Would rather be in pain than axious though for some reason . Any hows . I hope you are feeling better . Here for chats if you want to :)
