I'm glad both of you are well. What would this forum be without you? I had rough time on the weekend, after some food poisoning, and then I strained my back. I'm feeling better, but discouraged since some things are overdue. Maybe the morning will be better. I'm burning been smoking the rosary beads...

Update

Results are good, my heart is working perfectly fine and there is no damage. Just have to adjust the Beta Blocker.

I made sausage rolls and will freeze them.

Hello Red

It is too warm in my house. I shovelled the snow off the deck in preparation for more. Four days worth. I love the snow. I don't like having to move it.

I made a turkey casserole and will freeze most of it. I'm going to buy a lamb again. I'll give half to Karin and Paul. Going to see if there is a good movie on netflix.

Hello Davit..Thank you!:) Sounds like the Doc's are taking good care of you. I am glad for that. I sure would miss you if you weren't here. This old lady has been keeping a little to busy with physical distractions and wore myself out again. So I finally craped out on the couch this afternoon. I did get a lot done though which is a good thing and fixed a early dinner of grilled salmon, boiled rose potatoes and asparagus. Hope you are enjoying your snow and sitting next to a nice warm fire this evening. Good night my Dear friend...Red:)))

Hello Red.

I'm happy for you. I have an appointment with the specialist for Dec 15 so it would appear she is not very concerned. The ultrasound was all of five minutes so it doesn't seem to be very important. I'm betting it will just be an increase in beta blocker. Anyway the whole thing was anxiety free. Just another day in the life of an aging old man. I had lasagne for lunch so that is my cholesterol quota for the day even though it was a small piece. Squash for supper with beans if I can find them in the freezer. Angel food cake has 0 cholesterol and fat, but far too much sugar. I should boil some potatoes too.

Snowing lightly here but too warm, it could turn to rain.

Update: Well I guess my tenacity and persistence paid off. The doctors secretary called me this morning with a much improved attitude and tone. I now have a earlier test date for my procedure. December 1 is the new date. This not something that can be put off any longer than necessary. Anyway that relieves some of the stress, so now I can relax and rest a bit in the mean time. There just my be some light at the end of the tunnel...I look forward to getting better again...Red....

Hi Davit, Sounds like a tough day my friend. Sure hope your tests results come out in your favor. I've been a holding pattern here all day. The doctors nurse Sara did call me today to let me she is not ignoring me and has not forgotten about me. She said the doctor has been doing procedures all day so she has not been able to talk to him yet about doing my sigmoidoscopy sooner but that she will call me tomorrow and let me know what he says after she has a chance to discuss my case with him. The waiting is hard especially since I am growing very tired. Anyway on a happier note your warm fire sound inviting and the cake sounds yummy, wish I could join you for a nice cup of hot tea and piece of your lovely cake. Well I am going to say screw the diet and get myself a couple of oatmeal cookies with a spot of hot tea..We only live once my friend so we might as well enjoy it..Have a lovely night My Friend...Red..

Hello Red.

I just spent six hours in a car going to the city for a five minute test. He spent all that time checking one spot on my heart. So I imagine there is damage. Too tired to care. I'll find out in a couple of days. I have a craving for cholesterol foods. I'm sore now but wasn't most of the day.

Sorry you are being made to wait.

A friend sent me an Email and said she has Cancer. Very disturbing. I'm waiting results from her tests.

Still all and all it was a good day. It never snowed and I'm back home with a nice fire going and I'm going to make a cake.
