Mom of 3,

Sorry to hear about you and your husband. However, you know what's best for you, and it seems like you are doing the right thing. You know we're always here for you, no matter what
Members, do you have any advice or experiences that you would like to share with mom of 3?

Just wanted to let everyone know that my husband and I are likely headed for a separation.  I am not doing well but am not falling apart yet.  In some ways it is better to have a direction rather than the fog I was living under.  It was like living with a bomb that had no timer - you didn't know when it was going to blow.

At least with a separation we could change our minds.  I don't know but we're both pretty distraught and continuing on in this fashion is not helping anyone.  We've both agreed to get counseling, separately for now, which is a good step.  I am hoping we can find a way to work things out but am not so blind as to think they will.  I know how messed up things are and it will take a miracle to work this out.  I do believe miracles can happen, so we'll see, I don't want to give up hope.

I am most worried about my son and how he will handle this.  I expect that my husband will do all he can to help to ensure a good transition for him.  I think we can work together to help him deal, at least I hope so.

I just needed to tell someone this.  It's been my biggest fear and it has been tearing me apart.  I don't really know how I'll deal because I know I never handle anything well so I am afraid.  I did look today for counselors in my insurance plan and there are some listed now that take my insurance and accept new patients.  It is on the top of my "to do" list to call for an appointment.
I still wonder how helpful it will be but I need to bounce some of my issues off of someone.  I can't seem to get around them by myself.  Thank you for letting me vent
