Lolo
You have done a wonderful thing for yourself and those who love you in this world. I know it is difficult sometimes, this is a terrible mind numbing and exasperating addiction. But remember it is an addiction, try to be kind to yourself and just remember that you do not need cigarettes, the tobacco industry needs you. It is possible to free yourself and you are doing just that.
Drink lots and lots and lots of water, distract yourself and remain focused on the kindness that you are bestowing on yourself. I think that you are worth the effort, and I dare say that you do too. If you did not believe that you would not be here. My heart goes out to you my friend, there will come a day when you will look back at this and know with a supreme confidence that you are doing the right thing in the right place and for the right reason...
Stay strong...YOU ARE DOING IT...

You might not feel confident in this moment, but I believe that confidence dosen't just appear, it comes in slow bits as we chip away at the ice berg that is this addiction. For a great many of us (although not all) this process is about taking ourselves apart bit by bit. The reason for this is that we have over the years allowed smoking to become entwined in the very nature of who we believe ourselves to be. A good part of doing this is proving to ourselves that the part that smoking has played in self creation is a myth.
We don't need to smoke, we never needed to smoke, and we do not need to smoke in the future. All change begins somewhere...If we believe that we want to change, the initial seeds we plant grow into the realization of that which we wish to create. Water the seeds of your desire to quit and in time you will seperate the ivy from the rose. It does not happen in an instant, but with persistance and patience the rose will bloom.
Stay well there my friend, you are the gardener.

My advice is to stick with the plan...Its great that you are down to 7 mg which is the same as smoking 7 cigarettes in a 24 hour period. Your body is adjusting to decreased nicotine levels and you are reorganizing your behavioral responses to various situations...I would stay with it until you reach the end of the program...

Wow guys, this is a wonderful and much needed surprise...I've been in the wind for a few days now, dealing with the usual traumas of being a human being in a strange land.
In truth I have been a bit sad about some things lately, but seeing this gives me great cause for celebration. I am a big believer in being mindful of the blessings that I receive each and every day, I have been perhaps a bit guility of not being thankful enough. Your kind words have reminded me. Thank you.
This site and all of the wonderful souls that bring it to life have meant the world to me these past 9 months. With hand on heart I tell you I would not be 9 months quit without the warmth and hopefulness I have found here. I hid so long in that old blue smoke that I forgot how to be the person I was born to be. And if not for each and everyone of you I would not have had that opportunity. So onward we go day by day, thought by thought and moment by moment until everyone has put this addiction away for good...
Stay well and quit
