Congrats on 1 week MammaD! Now is when NOPE comes in to play. Not one puff ever, I used it alot, that and "Smoking is not an option so I have to do something else!" These self talk mantras kept me going. I realized I am an addict, and addicts can never go back to the drug if they want to recover. Here's to recovery, SMOKING IS NOT AN OPTION, NOPE! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 197 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,925 Amount Saved: $2,078.35 Life Gained: Days: 24 Hrs: 2 Mins: 9 Seconds: 33

Mamma D, Maybe it would help to think of it like this... It's not that you can't smoke again. It's that you don't have to smoke anymore. You are breaking the chains of addiction and freeing yourself. You are giving yourself the choice. Hang tough. You are succeeding! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/25/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 24 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 720 Amount Saved: $140.40 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 4 Mins: 20 Seconds: 56

WOWWWWWWWW 1st week is finally behind me and I'm still fighting with all my might. I can really say that I do feel better. Now MY battle really begins. In the past I have gone through the worst part only to give in for the dumbest of reasons and then completely give in and start right up again. This is where I need the help the most. I try to stay here and keep reading and posting but if I cave in I get ashamed and guilty and walk away. I can never smoke again thats all there is to it.....I have to think and be happy that I am a nonsmoker now. See ya soon My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/9/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 9 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 90 Amount Saved: $28.13 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 8 Mins: 24 Seconds: 54
