Welcome back, ttin. We're glad to see you again and as you know, this is a great place to get the support you need. Yes, it's scary but you can see here that quitting smoking is doable. People who are older, smoked more, had bigger issues than you have been able to do it. Everyone has their issues and their challenges. But it only takes one thing to be a quitter: never take another puff. Get rid of your paraphernalia. Tell yourself that you will do whatever it takes to get this monkey off your back. You won't die from quitting smoking, but which cigarette is it that will be the fatal one?
Stay here, ttin. Focus on this board and others on the net for the next few days. Work the programs. You do have the strength in you...don't believe the junkie lie that you don't. And each time that you don't smoke, you will be even stronger.
