well i stopped at the convenience store at 6:00 am this morning for my usual coffee to go and a newspaper , the clerk also plopped my pack of smokes on the counter {my daily purchase},i ask him to put those back and told him i quit !
so i'm off to a good start and saved 6 dollars !
llama
i've got a big test ahead of me tonight.it's our once a month poker game.
the cards will be flying , the cold beer flowing , but i will not smoke or draw to inside straights.
thanks folks.
my wife and i are taking my 4 year old grandson and granddaughter to the houston rodeo & livestock show tomorrow , i'm proud that my grandkids won't see me smoke ever again.

hi folks , well i was supposed to start last friday , and a lot of you gave me support , but friday night came and so did the beer and poker game so i cracked like a bad egg and fired up the smokes.
i was kind of ticked off at myself so i decided that my start date would be wednesday 3/12 to coincide with the fitness plan i've been on since the first of the year.i've lost 25 lbs since 1/1/2008 and my fitness week starts on wednesdays so yesterday was the day.
i put on my patch and cruised through day 1.
yes it was a little tough but i made it and i'm very glad , now it's day 2 and i'm gonna make it today also.
my 45 minutes on the treadmill last night was easier with my lungs less stressed and i feel great this morning.
thanks for your support , i'm gonna make it this time , i thank god for that and ask for his help.

bars , etc.
