Hi Hope you poker game went well. And yes I do hope.. and wonder IF I have quit in time to avoid.. COPD and or lung cancer. Especially since my mother in law was diagnosed with Lung cancer on the day I QUIT. ( The junkie ... in there was telling me.. see... you dont have to quit now.. it's too late. ) I sure as He___ want to show him.. That is awesome Astrofan! My wife Susan said one day when we smoked she was at the grocery store and asked the lady at the counter for a carton of cigarettes. The clerk said, you should not smoke. Sue gave her that "Mind your own business look" and walked out. A few months later, she saw that same worker in the store, approached her and told her that we quit. The girl from the store was so happy she gave my wife a hug. Do you suppose someone in her life had died from smoking? Maybe so? Do you ever wonder if you quit just in time to prevent you from getting lung cancer? I do. Great job handing back the smokes.. saying NO to things you don;t want... While playing poker tonight you may want to have a straw to fiddle with.. and Lots of icey cold water, i evn use the ice chips.. I got a hug from a friend yesterday....he said Your hair smells wonderful... Why to go Astrofan!! Drink lots of ice water it helps, The support here is great, They got me through the hard spots. let me know how you are doing I will be back on Monday. Good job, Astrofan!!! That's like looking that devil straight in the eyes and slapping him up side his head!!! I, too, will be up against my first major test this evening... "Friday Night Shot Night" with the neighbors! Well, sometimes we do shots and sometimes not. The thing is that they both smoke little cigars and I usually join in. NOT TONIGHT! I'll drink a beer or 2 and maybe have a shot, but I WILL NOT be smoking ANY tobacco product!! I QUIT! I'm even sort of looking to the competition!!! (What, am I crazy???)
