Sorry to hear your not feeling your best Mr. Ed. Thanks Mrs Ed for the info. Tell him he's really going to be missed, and we're all waiting to hear his hooves galloping down the road again. :p

Great Post,
I'm sure most of us have been there in our years of smoking. Sure hits close to home.

Welcome Scotty
Most of us are here trying and hopefully succeding.. It's ok to come back and try again. When we are in trouble is when we decide to not try any more.
Keep up the good work, It will all be worth it in the end.

I think crying is part of quitting. I'm not a cryer but seems like I made up for lost time yesterday (day 2). Everything made me cry so finally I just went in the bedroom, shut the door, looked at myself in the mirror and wondered what the hell I was crying so hard for. Then I just started crying harder. It's a weird feeling but we all know what the cause is. Withdrawal is not very easy.
Stick with it and it will be over soon.
If we were all in a room together crying, we might eventually start laughing at ourselves because we're adults crying over a stupid little white piece of paper with dried leaves in it. :gasp:

Hi Sally,
I have tried to quit several times also , but I want this to be my last.
One of ther things that helps me is to take a nice long bath then put some really nice smelling lotion on, brush my teeth. I actually feel and smell clean and not like cigs.
Lamplighter,
Congrats on your quit today. I know you can do it.
I'm rooting for the both of you.
