Peeledback, what you are describing is normal. Its just a part of the withdrawl process. I remember saying the strangest things too out of the blue lol. It will pass in a few days. You're doing really well :)
Ps: i quit cold turkey too :)

lmao Ericon, you are too funny :)
Im actually picturing you frantically jumping rope getting more and more frustrated. You have the right attitude and beleive it or not you are doing so well. How awesome that you have got through 2 days already :)
My first week of my quit i ate and ate and ate and just when i thought i couldnt eat anymore, i ate some more! I ate apples, oranges, mandarins, carrots, almonds and on the 3rd day treated myself to a small chocolate as a reward for getting to 3 days. My second week my eating had slowed down, now on week three im back to normal :)
I have started my exersize regime this week so im feeling so darn good about myself. I get the occasional craving but as soon as its there its gone again, Im so excited and proud of the new me. :)
Love PrincessC :) x
Keep on going you have a fantastic attitude.

lol o dear (am stayin right here behind this big ol' oak tree) can the real mistymoon step out now!! :)
Hun you smoked 3 packs a day right?
Firstly, everyone's quit is different. I remember praying for the days to pass so i didnt feel the withdrawls anymore, i learnt to ride the crave wave (thank you for teaching me that healer, you are a wonderful caring lady friend). Everything you have described are withdrawls hun. I know you are hurting and i know you are scared, i also got the prickly feeling too and it scared the by joes out of me, but when i quietened my mind and relaxed i knew it was my body healing, your body is getting more oxygen now hun. This feeling will pass - honest it will. I also had the kidney infection for just over a week, it was only mild but no matter what i had to try "fix" it nothing worked so i just embraced it and it too passed.
I know you can feel when you are just about to explode so when you get that feeling try step back take a few deep breaths and relax. Remember its all a mind game from here on in hun, you tell that nicodemon there is no room in your life for him anymore and tell him no matter how hard he tries you aint fallin for it.
Read as much as you can, "knowlege really IS power" the more you know about what you are experiencing the easier it is hun. Honest it is.
Is it safe to come out yet
:8o:
lol
rant, rave, kick scream throw things post do what ever you want but as Marie says, just dont smoke, its bad for you :) (lol i love that saying)
i promise you it DOES get easier and this too WILL pass.

Hi Lady,
Wow it really is an honor for you. Thats awesome - its an amazing opportunity to reach out and help. Even if it only helps one person.
I cant beleive 1/3 of her class smokes. That is way too high. My 20 year old nephew smokes and is an alcoholic, i just want to put him in a locked room for a few months and feed him fruits and vegitables lol brainwash him perhaps. ahhh ok its illegal i know. but i want him to live a long healthy life.
I have put reminders up all around me, inspirational quotes, health facts about smoking and what it does to you, coming in here and posting and reading posts really helps, encouraging others in their quit. I knew once i got over those first few days i would be fine, i am "craving the quit", i "want the quit more than i want to smoke" and "its better to be a non-smoker with an occasional craving for a cig, than a smoker with a constant desire to quit". This is the easiest quits i have ever had. Support is very important, beleive you can do it and you will.
