Hi , I didn't know where to post this, so here goes, I would like to know if New-York city has the by-law no smoking in restaurants etc. This is going to be my 3 month treat 3 days shopping in NY city. I am going with my best friend who is a smoker and I will be just coming off the patch, I know I am not taking this one day at a time as I always preach....but I want to be prepared I will use the appropriate coping mechanisms. I haven.t been to New-York for many years and this is such a treat. Why go with a smoker you ask? Because she has been my best friend for 30 years and when I mentioned it her eyes lit up I just couln't refuse. So if I am prepared I will adjust (right?) let me know ok :)Marie

Broomsdrew, way to go 10 days, quite an achievement, can't tell you what to do about friends not knowing( are you sure they don't know?)As for being tired that is normal and also, depressed, this will pass. Do you know what made you start smoking again after such a long period? Just to make sure you are prepared if this situation comes up again. Protect your quit, be prepared read a lot of documentation this site is such a help, also use the tools on the left, they will help you greatly. Keep up the good fight :)Marie
