Hi Rose and congrts on 2 weeks!!
Understanding that this is an addiction was the single biggest factor in this quit for me... when this clicked I could feel my attitude toward smoking change... I'm glad you have realized this also. This will be my "forever" quit as well.
Keep posting and reading. This is an awesome community that will cheer and push you on. I'm happy you stopped lurking :)
Keep up the excellent work
Danni (your fellow two weeker!)

Both hubby and I are still quit as of today and I carry on feeling better and better...
For those who remember I wrote last week that I planned on tackling my driving phobia... well I had my first lesson yesterday with a wonderful patient guy named Pete and it went great. I was extremely anxious but managed to keep it under control enough that I didn't feel like an attack was coming on at any point. Gotta love deep breathing!!
My husband was whooping and cheering as I barreled into the driveway... then he commented that after something stressful like that I would have been chain smoking... it feels good to OWN my feelings.
And I saw the inside of a gym this week....
Sorry to keep going on but I feel like quitting is saving my life in more than the obvious ways.
Thanks for all your support guys x x x

Hi Sandy and Sharon and congrats on your quits!!
Please keep reading and posting here. This is a wonderful community that will help you every step of the way. Reading through old posts here (sometimes for hours) has really helped me through the sucky times :)
I too use the patch and I am getting very funky dreams... last night I dreamt I was pregnant by a guy I had a crush on in High School.
Freaky!!
Anyway good luck!!
