Ro,
You have come to the right place! Please feel free to roam the site at your own pace. If you look to the left of the screen under "TOOLS" you will find many supportive tests. These tests are not diagnostic tools and are not a replacement or substitute for a physician's advice. The purpose of these tests is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When you're finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor.
We also have developed a Panic Program. This program is 12-weeks and involves the tools mentioned above. Each session is based on the previous session, so we strongly advise that you work slowly through the program and not jump ahead.
If you have any question or concerns with our €œTOOLS€, you can contact us at support@paniccenter.net. We are the Support Specialist for The Panic Center and are open to any questions or concerns you may have.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
Josie

Al,
Thanks for contacting us. First you need to talk to your doctor about XANAX. What are the side effects, proper dosages and what can be mixed? This will give you a better idea about the medication you are taking. A well informed mind makes well informed descions.
From http://www.drugs.com/xanax.html, it indicates to "Avoid alcohol while taking Xanax. Alcohol may increase drowsiness and dizziness caused by Xanax."
Again please check with your doctor, every individual is different.
Hope this helps,
Josie
Njl,
Have you tried relaxation techniques? What about breathing techniques? Try to prepare by reducing your anxiety level as much as you can. A hot bath, some soothing music, a warm beverage can help. Tomorrow do sign up for the Panic Diary where you can record your daily level of anxiety. You can also find how helpful it is to use breathing techniques to help you deal with your panic and anxiety. The Panic Program can help you understand more and may help you go about challenging your thoughts.
Hope this helps!
Josie
Lauralai,
Have you spoken to yur doctor about your feelings? If you look to the left of the screen under "TOOLS" you will find many supportive tests. These tests are not diagnostic tools and are not a replacement or substitute for a physician's advice. I can see you have already received a lot of support. Our group has given some good suggestions.
Your husband is a very lucky man to have you,

John,
Thanks for sharing your story today. You have quite a gift for analyzing. Are you new here? Welcome to the Panic Center. There are many people here who are living with and beating panic disorder. Be sure to make use of the €˜tools€™ on the left of your screen, take the anxiety test and take the results to your Doctor, that way they will know exactly how you have been feeling. Keep posting your thoughts and concerns to the support group, they are very intuitive and helpful.
Have you found a physician you can trust and be open and honest with. This way you can explain your symptoms and worries.
John, you are at a point in your life where you want answers. With you continuing to find answers to your questions and concerns is an amazing step. Please continue to share your thoughts with us. We can walk you through our program if needed.
Keep up posted!
Josie
