That is great. Inspire others is always a wonderful feeling. I have gotten a cousin and a friend to start their quit. Your days will probably go up and down with emotions but hang in there. The withdrawl won't last forever and it does get easier. A strong mind is all it seems to take to kick "butt".
Good luck and keep posting.

So proud of you to hear that. I think it is wonderful you didn't put off your quit. Just more time added to your life. Great job.....
Keep it up and keep it going.
Best wishes

You will be able to do anything you put your mind to. I know, that sounds so cliche but it is true. I knew I wouldn't have a problem with the physical part of the withdrawl it was the mental part I was worried about but you just take day by day, crave by crave. The first few days the craves seem to last forever but they really don't. Don't look at it like you have so much to go through, just what is in front of you at the time. Stay on the site as much as you can and post often, on yours and others. Read a ladys post named Luna, on her relfections of not smoking, everytime I want to give up I read her post and I am good for a while longer.
Good luck and best wishes.

Thanks I needed to hear that. I am still somewhat new in my quit and needed to hear that it will eventually get out of my head (at least for the most part). I think it is great you have been on your quit for soooo long. Congrats to you and wishes on your continued success.

You are the second person that has mentioned that. I think I am going to try it....what's it going to hurt, other than my wrist? Thanks for the reminder.

They say women use 3 times more words than guys do. Imagine all the words that women use when they are on their quit. I don't think words have stopped in my head since then. But I would rather talk then smoke so keep up the good work and you can beat this. It is just thoughts, your stronger than thoughts.
Good luck and keep posting.

I soooo understand what your going through. Everyone on here does. It is normal, everything you are feeling. Just keep telling yourself, noone has ever died from quitting smoking. Please hang in there, it does get easier, I promise. You can do this and 3 days is pretty good. In my past attempts I didn't make it that long.
Keep up keepin' the quit.
Good luck and keep posting and reading.

p.s.your not weak if you have made it 3 days!
