I feel like crap

Hey spike, what do ya like? If you think you feel like crap now, wait till you are in that hospital bed with tubes stuck in every orifice of your body. Then you will really feel like crap. This feeling you have now is nothing! Rely on all these people here. Get pissed off! Take every urge and run with it! Cigs are killing all of us, one second at a time! So kill it befor it kills you. My quit is unique in itself. I just keep getting pissed off at the urge. I control it, it dont control me! The urge controled me for many years, its my turn now! So make it your turn now! Good luck my friend! Down with R.J. Rynolds!!!!!!!! Hello All!!!

Great to see that so many people are quitting. Its hell, but worth it. My new life has been hard, but thats ok. I feel great. Just found out that a real good friend has heart disease. His heart is ok, its the walls outside his heart that are screwed up. He has smoked for 29 years. He probably wont make it home, he cant walk 50 yards without stopping for a rest. His red blood count is sky high because it is trying to deliver more oxygen to the heart. So, take a lesson from him. Take a deep breath and enjoy it while you can! Lobbying the tobacco companies!

Hello Monica, Nice to hear from you again. You have no idea what I have been doing in the past month or so. I have been causing so much trouble with these ******* tabaco companys! I write letters to them weekly on how there products are killing people. Monica, they could care less! One of my letters were returned with a simple explanation. They told me that my state (NY) has recieved money from a law suit that was won several years ago. I have asked them several times if they care about there fellow man and what they are doing to people by putting chemicals in there tobaco that keep you hooked. Funny, each letter i send, they send me coupons for buy one pack, get one free! How dare they do this to me! But thats ok! I have sent letters to my congressman wanting to know why our gouvernment allows these companies to sell drugs to us! I have not got one letter returned to me. Nice gouvernment, huh? Well, I will not stop lobbying! Nice to hear from you babe! Keep the cigs in the garbage! Down with R.J Rynolds! something funny!! Please!

Without showing my age, many years ago, when foolishness was apart of being a teenager, several friends and I rented this old cabin. While the beers were flowing nicely and the tunes were loud, one guy was passed out on the ground not far from the camp fire. Seeing the perfect opportunity to pull a great joke, we lit up 4 smokes at once. Please be aware that the paper part of the cig has little dark rings around it. These rings contain gun powder and is put in the paper to keep it lit. The boys and I took off our friends sneakers and socks and put 54cigs between his toes. We sat there and drank like pigs until the cherry of the cigs reached his toes! We quickly found out that he was not as drunk as he would have liked to be! Lol. POOF! We learned a few new words that night! something funny!! Please!

Hello everyone, I have been with this site for almost 2 weeks. You all are special people indeed and your want and desire to help people are incredible. I have read posts about smoking, about it's effects and what it is doing to all our lives. I have read posts about spouses that are not to supportive. I have read posts about deaths and unwanted events. This is all sad and depressing and lonley. We deserve much more out of life as individuals. Perhaps we can take some time out of our usual posts and tell a breif story about something positive that happend in our lives. Perhaps something that was funny or even humiating. Perhaps the moderators will allow us to do this for a while? as per request--- depression/loss of taste

Seem to me, the depression issue is no small one. Personally, I never had to deal with depression/bipolar or any other psych issue until I kicked the habit if you will. The times that I was depressed it was mainly due to a loss from the sabres. But that quickly subsided. Depression is a bi**h. I, myself can see where it can lead to problems. Like any other problem that comes from quiting, I will deal with it as it comes up. So far, I have been pretty good with it. I have killed no one, didnt even lose a friend, but even if I do lose a friend over this, then they really werent much of a friend if they dont understand. Depression takes from me. But I look at it as just another chalange. Perhaps I will learn to control it through my quit, perhaps not, but for now, I think I am doing ok. If it gets real bad, hey, what the hell, I have several docs that can always give me some prozac! Its the dam taste buds that I cant handel! lol. My Sam Adams cherry wheat taste like a sock! And my Molsons taste like a Genny cream ale! lol. Oh well, its not 4ever I hope! lol.
