I'm having a pretty hard time today. I have already had 3 cups of coffee. I'm really edgy and feel like crying. I keep telling myself that I won't give in to this craving or whatever it is. I am now going for a walk around the block to clear my head. I wish I could have a nap and sleep for hours then I would not be thinking about smoking.

Don't get rid of the patch. I found that when I started with the patch before and was brave and did not use it one day that was the day I started smoking again.
this time around though, i am going cold turkey. My sister has breast cancer and I think that that's enough to make me quit.
Good luck
I'm a little edgy today. Very nervous it seems. I'm busy at work so it's not like I had time to think about things.
I decided to take the family out for dinner tonight. Just because I told them. I have been drinking lot's of coffee.
I quit cold turkey you see. No substitute. This is the first time I haven't tried with gum, inhaler or patch. It seems easier for some reason.
Maybe my body is just cleaning out from all the toxins.
I'm hanging in there.

First thing on my mind this morning was having a cigarette. Why, I don't know. I'm on day 16. I did not have one in case you are wondering. I went to work, bought a coffee and settled in to a busy day. I have meetings all day today so that should keep me out of trouble.

It started out pretty bad. The person that sat next to me on the bus smelled of cigarettes. I waited on the corner for the light to change and again three people were smoking around me. I walked away and bought a coffee and went to work. I went for a walk at 10 am. and bought some chocolate hearts for my family for valentine day. I feel pretty good so far.
