I think I'm an angrier person now

Hi, I don't have the anger thing going but I still am not myself! I don't laugh like I used to, joke around etc. feel like I am not any fun anymore, that people are going to get bored with me, even got scared last night that my husband would'nt like me as well like I am now so I talked with him, really opened up and he held me and said I can go through anything with you just so wonderful you are not smoking, I told him scares me he might want someone else that is more fun, he really laughed at me, told me again the same thing. I just want the fun happy person back that I was when I smoked, without smoking!!!! he told me it would happen down the road, he quit 37 years ago. At times I feel his life has not changed, he is the same person, has his glass of wine once in awhile, and I can't as that would be a trigger for me. and I am having to do all the changing! But I do not think oh if I just only started smoking again all would be better, NO it would NOT, I am smart enough to know that and I won't smoke again! I have only been quit alittle over a week. also does anyone know if when I go to the low dose of patches and then get off them is it a bad withdraw at that time????????? Well I have vented, hope I get some answers. Is it like alcoholism ?

Hi all, WOW Freebird, I loved the openess you shared with all, you are great! Yes this is a long hard journey. What I don't understand is seems like the longer days I go the stronger cravings I have??????? Also still so tired, I think the fighting back against nicodemon sure wears a person out, do not have the energy I had when I smoked I was always at a not stop pace, morn. till late night, at times I say how long, how long please stop give me pease please, oh the times I do get pease is wonderful, have it off and on and especially about 20 min. after I put my new patch on. The pease I do get to feel even though not as often as the craves Will and Does keep me going as a none smoker, like I will not be given more then I can stand or almost to that point, lol then comes the pease so I can continue on my journey of being a non-smoker. and that I will no matter what is dished out to me, but is still so hard, :( as we all know. Well I have boo hoo enough for now, will boo hoo more another time, lol lolBYT still with whatever comes along I am so happy I made the decision to STOP smoking. Life is like a roller coaster, all the ups and downs, just with an addition the hills are alittle higher and the downs a little lower, WE WILL all make it at 5:00 p.m. cst lets all shout together, WE WILL MAKE IT!
