The Gym

The recent very hot weather (we had 36c) has passed and I can sleep again in the day (I work permanent nights) I did go 48 hours no sleep because it was just to hot, yeah I was a bit stressed out but there was no way I would pick up a cigarette, I seem to analyze how I feel these days and I dont think thats a bad thing. I'm still enjoying my quit journey and starting Monday I have booked and will be going to my local Gym (I used to do weights around 30 years ago) so im looking forward to some (gental) Squats and Bench Press ... the wife says ur mad LOL, but I'm going ?

Have a good smoke free day

60 Days

Today I have not smoked for 60 days so I'm happy with that, feeling good and a lot healthier, the money not spent on tobacco is a bonus but to me the important thing is I'm living my life without feeding an addiction. Today the addiction is not on my mind but I an aware of it and avoid situations related to smoking and this I don't find hard to do. I am enjoying my quit journey and enjoying how I feel today ?

Have a happy smoke free day

Hi Sparrow

OK mate your setting your quit meter for tomorrow, I'm just wondering do you have any NRT that could help with the first days ?, I used patches for a couple of weeks they helped but I just did not buy any more when I run out, wishing you all the best on your quit journey and hope to chat to you soon.

Quiet forum

I tend to agree with Sparrow the Home page that most people see when they first open the URL to the site is a bit confusing something like a large clickable button (Register - Join Forums - Sign Up - Make an Account) or something like that would help, we get a lot of guests but not many new members ?
