3rd day of quitting

Thank you. I do plan on staying smoke free and the cravings are getting less and less everyday. Tomorrow will be 9 days smoke free and it's going to stay that way!

12 Days Smoke Free!

Today is really marking a mile stone for me. I haven't had a cigarette in 12 days. It hasn't been easy, with hurricane Irene passing through and knocking out power. It was really hard trying to find something to do to pass the time. But i made it.

Thinking of rewarding myself by going and getting my nails done. Not really sure yet though!

12 Days Smoke Free!

@Vincenza What i did to pass the weekend was do word search puzzles. We stayed at my boyfriends moms house last night and i fell asleep as soon as we got there.. Thank you again for the support!

@nonic; I do suffer from depression so, quitting isn't at all easy for me. I just try and focus on the future and how much healthier i'll be. I've almost had relapses but i did the breathing exercises and used my gum to help with the cravings. I hope quitting is going well for you too!

12 Days Smoke Free!

Thank you all for the kind words. I did reward myself, actually. I went and got a manicure. :) I'm still having hard times with the cravings but i just breathe through it and it all seems to work itself out. :)

Had the hardest day of my life today!!

I was basically a taxi for my boyfriends aunt who broke her foot the other day, So i'm having to drive her around town... I don't mind it, at all. But... She smokes, like a freight train. Every 5 minutes, she lights up. I went through the nicotine gum today like it was the last few pieces on earth! But i managed to make it through today with flying colors. Still smoke free, and still plan on staying that way!! 16 days and still going strong!!

Had the hardest day of my life today!!

I was just thinking about how quickly i wanted the day to end!
But i got through it, as i said, i used the gum and deep breathing and just focused on the road and not to her blowing the smoke in my face (not purposely)... I already can't believe it'll be a month soon. I really feel so much better since I quit. I know my 2 children will be so proud of me!
