But i haven't forgot about y'all! It's been 15 weeks since i decided to quit. I had one of the quit counselors email me and ask me to fill out the form for the Hall of Fame. I thought that was pretty neat. Tell everyone my story and how i've stayed quit.. I couldn't have done it without each and every one of you. I'm only 23 years ago, and i have a lot more years to go! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!
@Samantha, I really just haven't thought about smoking. Y'all have helped me so much it's unreal! Every time i had a craving all i'd do is sign on and look at others posts and post my own and get amazing responses.
@Eyja, Thank you for those kind words. I did upload my story, a long one i might add, and I'm hoping it gets posted so i can share it with everyone. To reward myself for staying quit for so long i went out yesterday and bought me a Betta fish. He's loving his new home.
That's a really cute joke.. And very sweet words. I normally speak the way i feel, on here, and in real life. It lets people know how you're really feeling, it's not good to keep everything inside, at least that's what i was told growing up. I can't wait for y'all to read my submission! If it gets posted.
Eyja, you're to funny! I'm gonna see how he does on his own first before introducing a lady into his bowl. He seems to have a bit of an attitude.. Plus i don't really think i can take care of 200+ betta babies..
6 days is something to chant about! Before you know it, it'll be 3 months clean of Nicotine and you're wonder how in the world you got there! You're doing great.. Just remember N.O.P.E (Not One Puff Ever).
Just goes to show you how much money we spend on something that can potentially kill us one day! But, we're a part of this family for a reason, so we don't fall back into that lifestyle! $34,000 is a lot, it does make you wonder where it all went...
Hengest, I was very moved by your story, as i was in your shoes 3 months ago. Anyone here can tell you. I'm 23 years old and have smoked since i was 16. It's not easy to let it go once it's become a part of your life.. I also am in a relationship where my boyfriend doesn't smoke, so it made it equally as hard to be with someone that couldn't be around the smell (He has asthma) and not being able to smoke.. Though you're having a hard time with your quit, i think i can speak for everyone here when i say we're going to stand beside you 100% in trying to accomplish this. We're all here for you and pulling for you and you can do it! Just have faith in yourself and the rest will follow.
Yesterday I went to see my Dr. First time i've been in almost 2 years... A lot has been going on lately, everyone that reads my posts knows that.. The dr. decided to put me back on Paxil and Trazadone. Both of which are Anti-Depressants, Trazadone just happens to be a sleep aid as well. I've been having a lot of trouble sleeping and i needed something that would help.. I just don't know if feeling down and depressed again has anything to do with quitting smoking? Or if i'm just feeling that way cause my body doesn't know what to think...
