My son and lightning

Welcome boardwalk, My sympathies and thoughts are with you during this sensitive time. It is always very difficult to see your child suffer. Keep checking the site for others that have had a similiar situation such as yours. It is also a good idea to ask the doctor about support groups that you can attend and any exercises that can be done to keep your child calm through the bad weather. Ask as many questions as you need, and stay strong. Good luck and keep us posted, Josie

Fear of Medication

Welcome Sadie, You have come to the right place! Please feel free to roam the site at your own pace. If you look to the left of the screen under "TOOLS" you will find many supportive tests. These tests are not diagnostic tools and are not a replacement or substitute for a physician's advice. The purpose of these tests is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When you're finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor. We also have developed a Panic Program. This program is 12-weeks and involves the tools mentioned above. Each session is based on the previous session, so we strongly advise that you work slowly through the program and not jump ahead. If you have any question or concerns with our €œTOOLS€, you can contact us at support@paniccenter.net. We are the Support Specialist for The Panic Center and are open to any questions or concerns you may have. Looking forward to hearing from you soon! Josie

Is this Panic? Mania? Depression? ???

DiAnn, Thanks for sharing your story with us today. You will find that there is tons of support and encouragement on our site. Perhaps you can look into our Panic Program. It is a 12 week program, and the results have been fantastic for others. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to post them here in the support group or please contact us at support@paniccenter.net. DiAnn, The Panic Center also has a sister site called the "The Depression Center". You can visit this site at www.depressioncenter.net. Here you will find our Depression Test. Again, this test is not a diagnostic tool and is not a replacement or substitute for a physician's advice. The purpose of these tests is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When you're finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor. If you continue to need extra support our Support Department is always available 24/7. Thanks for visiting us and we hope to hear from you again soon. Take care, Josie

Jelly Legs

Jelly Legs, First, please check with your doctor. Describe what is happening exactly. Are you on any meds? This could also be a factor effecting your anxiety. Have you tried relaxation techniques? What about breathing techniques? For tonight, prepare by reducing your anxiety level as much as you can. A hot bath, some soothing music, a warm beverage can help. Tomorrow do sign up for the Panic Diary where you can record your daily level of anxiety. You can also find how helpful it is to use breathing techniques to help you deal with your panic and anxiety. Hope this helps! Take care, Josie

Can't Fall To Sleep

Mackscc, You have come to the right place! Please continue to share your thoughts with us. There are many people within this support group that share the same questions and concerns as you. We are all a group of individuals who support each other. We look forward to hearing more from you in the future. These tests may or may not be for you but they are "free". If you have any question or concerns with our €œTOOLS€, you can contact us at support@paniccenter.net. We are the Support Specialist for The Panic Center and are open to any questions or concerns you may have. I would also check the dosages your taking, with your doctor, as well as confront him with the "long bath and love making " comments. I agree that this is a little odd. As a doctor he should be able to explain himself. Looking forward to hearing from you soon! Josie
