53runner, thanks for responding to my post. My wife has been teaching elementary school for 23 years so I have some idea the stress you're under. I went to my doctor today for a follow-up. His nurse had to take my BP three different times before it finally went down to 140/90 from 175/90. Have bad white coat hypertension. My BP averages 140/90 at home but when Im sitting in the waiting area it begins to skyrocket. I used some breathing techniques today and it helped somewhat. I have had good results from the Lexapro compared to the Celexa I was once on. Im sleeping much better on the Lex. Are your panic attacks under control now? Runner, where are you located? Later

Hi Seabreeze, You have come to the right place! Please feel free to roam the site at your own pace. If you look to the left of the screen under "TOOLS" you will find many supportive tests. These tests are not diagnostic tools and are not a replacement or substitute for a physician's advice. The purpose of these tests is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When you're finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor. We also have developed a Panic Program. This program is 12-weeks and involves the tools mentioned above. Each session is based on the previous session, so we strongly advise that you work slowly through the program and not jump ahead. If you have any question or concerns with our €œTOOLS€, you can contact us at support@paniccenter.net. We are the Support Specialist for The Panic Center and are open to any questions or concerns you may have. Looking forward to hearing from you soon, Josie

I am Eric in north-central South Carolina. I'm happy to have found a place where most everyone knows of the dreaded symptoms of panic attacks. It is so difficult trying to explain these events to anyone, my wife included. If I hear, "suck it up" again I'm going to leave (not really). I am 54 and my attacks began 10 years ago. I am presently on 20mg of Lexapro and 10mg of Altace. The lexapro works very well with preventing the attacks although it doesn't prevent feelings of heightened anxiety. I do feel tired and used to have problems sleeping. Im glad to be on here and in good company.
