Spouses - How to make them non-insane

Hello Kitten, You mention that in the last 2 weeks you have been able to do some things i.e. mini golf and eating at a restaurant. You should find strength in your successes - no matter how big or small you feel they are. As far as the mother in law situation - I can totally relate. I got through it by telling myself it was only going to be a temporary measure - even though at the time I had no idea how long it would last. Regarding how you are feeling about your husband I would advise you to seek some type of assistance. Do you have a good family doctor or a therapist that you can relate to? If not, once you are able to acquire one maybe they would offer the option of having your husband present so that he may gain a better understanding of your situation. Please remember that you are not alone on this site. Talk to your doctor and let him/her know how you are feeling. Please post often and let us know how you are doing. Hope to hear from you soon, Casey _____________________________ The Panic Center Support Team

help me, I am so scared and I can't control anything

Hi medowlark, I see that cdg has already responded with some great coping tips and advice. I hope you find strength in such an encouraging post. As cdg explains, they too have been there and made it through. Please don't try to deal with these emotions alone. Seek assistance from your doctor/therapist. Let them know how you are feeling. Please keep us posted. Casey, _____________________________ The Panic Center Support Team

Hi to all

Hello and welcome endless_fight, Please feel free to roam the site at your own pace. If you look to the left of the screen under "TOOLS" you will find many supportive tests. These tests are not diagnostic tools and are not a replacement or substitute for a physicians advice. The purpose of these tests is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When youre finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor. We also have developed a Panic Program. This program is 12-weeks and involves the tools mentioned above. Each session is based on the previous session, so we strongly advise that you work slowly through the program and not jump ahead. If you have any questions or concerns with our "TOOLS" you can contact our support department at support@paniccenter.net. Looking forward to hearing from you soon! Ugh! Help!

Hello KarlUK, Welcome to the site. I know that others will be responding to your post soon to share their experiences but I also wanted to respond. It is reassurring to hear that your blood tests have come back all clear and you do make a valid point about the effect experiencing pain can have. You have done the right thing to keep track of your symptoms. You can find tools available on this site that will assist you with this if you would like to use them. It is quite possible that the symptoms you mention could be due to anxiety but it is not our place to provide a diagnosis. You should definitely follow-up with your doctor about these symptoms and let him/her know how you are feeling. Please continue to post and let us know how you are doing. Hello and Suggestions Welcome

Hello Lravn65 (Lisa)and welcome to the site. You make a very valid point, which as a fellow RN, I can totally relate to on a personal level. I think most of us in health care have done too much researching on our own at some point - no matter what the concern, issue or symptom. But it does help to keep us informed and responsible and demsonstrates to the doctors that as patients, we can be very proactive. Regarding your medication concerns, I am sure that other site members will be responding soon to share their own experiences of these medications. Please make sure though to also inform or discuss any concerns or alteration in dosages with your doctor or pharmacist. Please explore our site. You may find that some of the tools available here would be helpful for your upcoming appointment in July with your psychiatrist. Hope to hear from you soon, Casey _____________________________ The Panic Center Support Team
