I completed a mini journal type thing when I was working through the workbook in the first few days of my quit. I guess I haven't felt like I've needed to...but that's when things sneak up on you! Thanks for the tip and I am excited for this new catagory! Have a great evening everyone!

I agree with all of it...but the part that I am most surprised with is that your life will change for the better in so many ways that it's almost unbelievable! Love me and my new life as a non-smoker!

Thanks for posting Kristilu, and the advice about goggling starting a running program. I did that and came out with lots of awesome info that I actually really needed. (as to why I hadn't done this better is beyond me-but oh well!) Thanks again for such a great reminder about what info I was missing! Sorry to see you slipped, but it's just that...a slip. Good for you for not being hard on yourself, getting back up, dusting yourself off and trying again. Trust me it is worth it and it seems like you have the determination to do it!
Hope you are having a good day!

You are 100% right on everything! I can't believe how empowered I feel by quitting smoking and it really does take determination, will and desire. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Moss--just wondering what you use it for? I was using it for severe acid reflux and heartburn but have found that I haven't needed it the last few months, even after quitting. I think I might start crushing it up and putting it in my yogurt each day just for general health. Glad you found the link. Hope all else is good for you, and have a wonderful day.
Hi Goofy--It really should only take another day or two to notice a decline in your heartburn. I find crushing it up into a fine powder almost seems to work the fastest. I have never tried doing anything with the whole seed. Keep me posted on your results as this was a natural remedy that my mom made me try and it worked amazing but I don't want to be giving advice or preach something that maybe isn't working. At least i can tell people to try it and see if it works, but not swear by the fact that it works.
It's too bad your heartburn has gotten worse since quitting but your body is going through the change and it won't last forever, it does feel nice to have your body healing. Does the beer effect the heartburn or would that just be hard alcohol? Make sure you identify with your doctor exactly what is causing it and see what you can cut out of your diet to make it better. (hope you don't love spicy food as that can be hard to give up! Have a wonderful day!

I would like to know too! My guess is that it is either there are a lot of successful quits or slips on Tuesdays. Can't wait to find out, I am hoping unhooked will be on here soon! Check out my reply on My Rewards list. Have a fantastic Day 52!

Thanks for posting this Brenna! I use to be an extremely negative person and have been working hard towards changing that in the last year and a half. I love that you put this as a challenge to yourself as this is really what is going to help. I am much more positive these days (quitting smoking has helped this tremendously as well-unsure why but I love it!) but this post is still really helpful. Thanks for being so great!

Hi Moss, How do you use it or in what way. I would be interested in finding a good way to incorporate it into my daily routine. Thanks in advance for your input.

Thanks for the input Misty it has encouraged me to start using it again. Nice to hear that you incorporate it into what you give your dog, nothing like a healthy pet to love. Thanks for letting me know that it is mainly used for cholesterol but I'm sure it probably has other health benefits. Have a super day!
