I agree with all of it...but the part that I am most surprised with is that your life will change for the better in so many ways that it's almost unbelievable! Love me and my new life as a non-smoker! I feel really sorry for people who are having to stand outside now in England to smoke - rain and cold here and they still do it! Take the walk of shame out of the pub/club/or resturant (because not many people smoke now) and freeze for the fag...we were slaves to the fag! It feels good not to worry about it any more. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/28/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 13 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 325 Amount Saved: 81.25 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 0 Mins: 25 Seconds: 50

    Cigarettes Not Smoked

16 years ago 0 2257 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Do you see people smoking outside and feel cheated, like there is something your are missing? Is there an idleness about you that you just can't seem to fill? Unsure of what to do with your time and feeling like sleeping all day? Feeling kind of strange??? You must be quitting cigarettes. Not sure what do do next??? To look back and see that taking brisk walks, eating fresh cut veggies and deep breathing WORKED. Keep it moving people, no sitting around feeling like you're missing something -- ya know what it is? NOTHING, You're missing NOTHING. Cigs gave you nothing, you're not missing a damn thing. Unless you want to count bad breath, cancer, breathing trouble and slugishness and smelling like complete garbage!!!! Keep the faith that you have made the right deicision and move forward with the resolve that in a little while, you won't think twice when you see a smoker (except you will be happy as heck it's not you smoking outside, ALONE !!! Your life will improve in ways you never even thought about and gee, you may live longer too! Stay strong and review the reasons why you quit everyday, keep in your wallet, car, computer screen. Staying quit is not easy, but when you take a look around here, you can see many have done it. Pull strength from this place and the great advice offered here by so many and enjoy your new life. If you need help, it's a few keystrokes away. I loved coming here just to hear what others had to say and to offer help if I could. January is a tough time for many who are starting this journey. Hang in there - we believe in YOU !!!!
