Hi & Welcome PSSmith!!!!
You have found a great place to help with your quit...Glad you have had a chance to look around --and see the great things available here to help with your quit.
You can do this--just take a day (or minute or hour) at a time. Remind yourself of NOPE (Not One Puff Ever). You are going to have good and bad days (just like when you smoked). But this is very do-able ---reading all the success stories here has really helped me.
Lots of ice cold water, deep breaths have also been really helpful. Perhaps you couod ask that husband smoke outside?
Well--best wishes & welcome ;)
Deb

Hi & welcome Beckylynn...you have found a great place to get the help and support you need to quit smoking. All of us here have the same goal (NOPE--not one puff ever) & it's terrific to see the those with years under their belt and those who are still fairly new in their quit share what is helping them.
SO---Just know this CAN be accomplished and using this site and all it's information can be very helpful. Cold water, deep breaths & prayer have all helped me in addition to reading and posting here.
Good Luck & Just remember ---Smoking IS NOT an Option ;)
