I'm in for the weight loss - but I refuse to weigh myself at the end of the week and am hoping that I will miraculously lose that 5 lbs the creeped on over Christmas and while we were on vacation. Spent 2 hours at the gym yesterday and today and going back tomorrow morning. The neighbour just sent over homemade caramel corn and hubby just cracked open a box of chocolates...This isn't getting any easier!! The weight didn't come off to much this week, .6 pounds, but I am feeling like I am toning and that is good thing. Got to build some muscles first and then the weight will come off. Anyway I just have to remind myself you ate it you take it off. There is not magic cure. Consequences of my actions. Update!!! I have lost 3 pounds!!! I am going to Curves 4 times a week and walking 6 times a week and eating healthy. No cookies :( I packed it on I will walk it off. But as with quitting smoking I do plan on little rewards. I think at the 5 pounds intervals would be good. I am going for 15 for sure and then maybe another 5. We will see. I just want to get back into my jeans :eg: Keep the Quit Sparky My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/30/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 254 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,540 Amount Saved: $381.00 Life Gained: Days: 36 Hrs: 1 Mins: 8 Seconds: 11

Hello all, I've been pretty successful with exercising and following weight watchers. I'd lost about 30 pounds and then since Thanksgiving, I've gained about 7 back. Let's get back on track and support each other. Question for mods: I noticed today that the Healthy Weight Center site has some posts for testing purposes. When will this site be up and running? May I join you? I'm back to drinking more water today and have a lot of running around to do tonight. That will have to serve as exercise. I ate fish for lunch. well day one almost down, went to Curves, treadmill for 30 minutes and maybe another 30 later and some house work and eating healthy. Not bad. Small confession, I actually took some pictures to remind myself how far out of shape I have gotten, icky, icky. Now when I want to eat I look at those and no way. LOL. OK, Sparky, I'm with you. Back to Curves and treadmill for you, back to walking and dvd's for me. Back to monitoring what we eat, and being conscious about what we put in our mouths. I like what Misty Moonlight said: if you bite it, you write it. That works for me, too. Here we go!
