Well - I did the California trip and cared NOT what I ate and boy did I have fun! But now the piper is piping and the thighs are plumpin' so here I am: Yesterday: Breakfast: Kashi blueberries Coffee Lunch: 3oz baked chicken 1/2 cup steamed carrots 1 new potato Dinner: Nachos and cheese (oops!) Snack: 100 cal tapioca pudding 1 light string cheese Hope all is well with everyone! Now that football is on (I should have been a man) I am going to have a HARD time not snacking, especially since I don't smoke (I LOVE writing that!). Next weekend will tell the tale! Lady - love that you are eating breakfast! Woo Hoo! And LOVE that you went to a falcons game! I am doing a colts game in November. Nothing better than football games to give you exercise. We went to the UT/Cal game in Berkeley and I walked about 10 miles! What a weekend! I've been running, running, running! I'll try to remember everything. Friday. b. coffee l. salad, wheat thins, diet pepsi d. popcorn Sat. b. bagle, coffee l. nothing d. ribs, steak, baked potatoe, unsweet tea Sun. b. sausage, hashbrowns, toast l. Rotissary Chicken, potatoe salad, diet pepsi d. small bowl of chili Mon. b. nutra grain bar, coffee l. none d. burger, cole slaw, peanut butter pie, pepsi Hey it was Labor day! I splurged!!! Exercise!!!! Lots of it... Friday... Falcon game, tons of walking through lots and stadium. Saturday. Housework, shopping Sunday... 9 holes of golf, swimming Monday... Walked up waterfall at state park 770 feet and then hiked back through the woods. I have no idea how far we walked but it was a lot. Up a mountain and back down. Oh what fun!!!! YEAH - it's Friday! Yesterday: Breakfast - beef slices and cheese Lunch - sliced turkey and side salad (ranch on the side) Dinner - baked chicken and green beens snacks - none excersise - walked around best buy - hehe Lady - I used to be such a gym freak. You are absolutely right. It makes you feel awesome and once you start it about kills you to have to miss a day. It is amazing that I can remember that and still not get myself to go.... I CAN DO IT! Janna, There is a gym in the community I live in. I leave work and go straight there before I pick up my 5 yr old and while my 13 yr old is at football practice. At 4 in the afternoon no one is in there and I watch a little bit of Law and Order while I ride the bike! I call it "me" time. Plus, like everyone said once you get started it feels so good. Like I'm doing something good for me. Hmmmm... kind of like how my quit began. This could be a really good thing! I haven't weighed myself yet. I'm afraid LOL One step at a time Janna. When you live in the foothills of the mountains and your child has a football game, you get to walk up and down hills to get to the field. That was a lot!
