Congratulations on your decision to quit. I hope you check out the "My Program" and "Tools" tabs above.  There are helpful readings, exercises, and tools there to help you get ready to quit and to keep that commitment as time goes on.
 
Since you are planning ahead, be sure to keep a lot of cold water and fruit juice around for those first few days. They help with feelings of discomfort, to flush out the nicotine, and to maintain blood sugar levels when you are detoxing. Physical detox should take no more than 3 days, and then the craves and anxiety will significantly decrease. 
 
And be sure to check in her when you have questions, need support, or just want to report your progress. People are here to help.
