Hi Bryan Kind of takes you back when you're not sure if it really happened or not doesn't it ?. Good thing it's only a dream though. I flipped my pillow over and didn't have any dreams like that last night. Really glad you're not having heavy craves. At 3 or 4 days I was literally going through Hell with them. The chantix must be working like it should. So many triggers. It's like learning to do everything all over again. There were so many situations where I smoked it would be like ok " now what do I do "?  It's -30C with the wind chill here for the next few days and the only thing smoking is the woodstove. It's cold enough where the snow crunches when you walk on it.  let us know how it's going. breather 65 Addict 0

Thanks All You great People, and I wish You all Great success also.

Breather I had one of those dreams You were talking about, well kinda. last night I dreamed I had smoke 2 cigs back to back, the actual deed of smoking I dont recall that well, but when I woke up I had to think real hard for a moment to decide if the dream was real or just a dream, and I was so Happy when I concluded it wasnt true. Maybe the Cravings are easing up a little, but the habit, the triggers are still pretty strong. Thanks again You Guys.

Congrats Bryan.  The first 3 days are the most difficult.  Take it one step at a time and remember that distractions and coping tools are like gold right now.  Post often, it really helps.  And remember that any uncomfortable feelings are only TEMPORARY.   Every day gets a little better.
All the best in your quit,

Jan

3 days is fantastic Bryan.  Like Pat said, most of it should be out of your system now, so a big part of the battle is over for you.  You are doing a wonderful thing for yourself, don't forget that.

Congratulations on 3 days Bryan!

The hardest part is over as the nicotine should be out of your system.  It might not seem that way, but hang tough and it will soon start to get better.

You're doing so great, I hope you've got a special reward planned for today and for the end of hell week.  Keep up the great job!

I'd put a smiley face in here, but for some reason the icons won't load.

Thanks Rock, I may just do the secret reward. Thank You, everyone for that matter for all the wonderful support. Today wasn't much easier if any, but I Am still holding on strong, I vision myself hanging off the edge of a cliff with a very strong grip, and the Nicodeamon hanging off of me, his grip is slipping, maybe it wont be long before I'll have him dangling one handed....lol
