I wont be trying those. It helps to have the information about withdrawal symptoms so that I know what to expect.

Excellent, roc. Glad to hear you're taking this seriously and preparing yourself. Now get those coping strategies and rewards in place, and you'll be set. Are you going to use any NRTs or Chantix? The first three days are hard, but there are harder things in life...especially if you keep smoking. I'm going to look for this one particular thread that addresses that. Might be a while till I find and bump it up...still working myself -aloha My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 83 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,320 Amount Saved: $564.40 Life Gained: Days: 11 Hrs: 16 Mins: 33 Seconds: 31

PS I have started working with the tools provided and have been able to identify my nicotine dependence and some of my triggers.

It has been hard. I have a high stress job and that does not make this easy.

homie. Way to prep yourself. Whatever it takes. I too would highly recommend the tools to the left there. Get your passport in order, then when Monday comes you will be quite prepared to begin. I know you can do it. good for you roc...you know what they say about honesty This gives you time to take a look at the quit program to the left. Especially the workbook. It is really helpful. Also to get some of your coping strategies ready. We'll all be cheering you on. Post as much or as little as you want. -aloha My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 83 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,320 Amount Saved: $564.40 Life Gained: Days: 11 Hrs: 15 Mins: 58 Seconds: 43
