New here

Wants2bfree, You have come to the right place! Please feel free to roam the site at your own pace. If you look to the left of the screen under "TOOLS" you will find many supportive tests. These tests are not diagnostic tools and are not a replacement or substitute for a physician's advice. The purpose of these tests is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When you're finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor. We also have developed a Panic Program. This program is 12-weeks and involves the tools mentioned above. Each session is based on the previous session, so we strongly advise that you work slowly through the program and not jump ahead. If you have any question or concerns with our €œTOOLS€, you can contact us at support@paniccenter.net. We are the Support Specialist for The Panic Center and are open to any questions or concerns you may have. Keep posting your questions and concerns. Our online support group is very knowledgeable and understanding. Josie

Does anyone have this happen and what can I do?

momkoop, Thank you for sharing with us today. First of all talk to your doctor about your medications, and what effects you and how. You also need to be honest in what your concerns and questions are. Your husband is there for you and wants to help, but attacking him will not help either of you. Your husband is welcome to our site for support and help, just as you are. Try our Panic Program to help you through your journey. We also have an anxiety test that you can take and bring to your doctor. This will help better assess the situation for the two of you. Also ask your physician about support groups or counselling groups in your area. Please know we are always here for you. Our online support group is wonderful. They are full of knowledge and support. Hope this helps, Josie

afraid to go out

Kathaleen, Thanks for sharing with us today. What you have described seems to be a symptom of social phobia or social anxiety disorder. Have you taken the anxiety test, to the left of your screen? This will better assess the symptoms to a specific diagnosis and we can work with you from there. Keep us posted on the results, Josie
