thanks for the messages gang, it helps. I am having a tough time today, my wife's ashtrays and smoking is getting to me. It will be two weeks tomorrow, but it seems like my craving is getting worse sometimes. Even though I have been cold turkey for a week too - off of the aid. How did everyone keep going? Having to keep fighting for so long. When will it get to where I don't think about them or crave them?

thanks for the suggestions, I seem to be chewing on sticks a lot, like toothpics, popsicle sticks, etc. I don't seem to have any extra hunger or want differnet food. food seems to taste better though.

"What is hardest, is also the most rewarding" Every day is an accomplishment, reward yourself for making it through each day.
Each day is a huge accomplishment and you deserve something nice for each day you make it. Set up something really nice at the 3 month and 6 month dates, achieve them, and live your dream as a non - smoker. Live your life as a non - smoker. You can do this, you will do this, and everyone on this site is here to help, so don't hesitate to ask. They have helped me to make it through Hell week and heck week, and you can make it too.

Thanks gang, that really makes me feel good to read your posts. I did survive two weeks, and today has been the easiest day by far, for some reason. Hopefully, I will rack up another two weeks without even thinking. Again, having support from folks who know exactly what you are going through is awesume!
