I am hoping this will pass very soon. I am way too busy in life and can barely get through a day. Working full time, w/ a part time job and going to school part time AND my kids and animals! I don't have time to be drained! It is all I can do to keep awake here at work! Thanks for all the replies......Have a wonderful Mothers Day to all moms!!!!! :)

Hi all..... I fear coming up to my Moms for Mothers Day weekend as my Mom and her boyfriend both smoke. I have not wanted to smoke since being here. I have noticed how much it stinks and hate it when she puts one in the ash tray and walks away for it to smolder in my face, but other than that, I have not had any cravings what so ever. I hope all moms have a wonderful Mothers Day!!!!

I am on my 5th day of Chantix, have gone from 2 packs a day to smoking 12 yesterday. Today I am very anxious...feel almost angry inside...Listening to Feng Shui, deep breathing...it is still there.. Anyone else with this?? The first 4 days I was in an Amazingly great mood...

Hi Melissa !!!!
Welcome to SSC. I am about to finish my 7th smoke free day. I am also a chantix, miracle med, user. I could not have gotten this far in my quit without it. I have wanted this quit for a long time now, but fear of withdrawls kept me from it. The fear of not being strong enough to make it through my first stressful situation. My want and desire to quit has been strong and with the aide of Chantix, I am successful. The SSC is also a HUGE reason I can also be successful. I look at my Quit Meter several times a day, as I can see all those Not Smoked Cigs in a pile and it gives me more and more incentive.
Congrats on your Quit!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am doing better now. Part of the problem is I had a tooth pulled. It was done surgically, and they had to drill into the bone. When I am in pain, all I can think of is negative, and I was in terrible pain. I finally got my meds and am doing better now.. Nic Monster is almost gone as well. Thank you all for your support.

Just KNOW, that you never deserve a smoke.. you deserve to ALWAYS have the power that you flexed today to say, NO, I deserve BETTER.. No smoking. Be so proud of yourself!!!! :)
