hi
last night i could not get on from 7 until...
I had a little pantic attach and went to bed. It's so hard to smoke when you are asleep.
Today is another tough day.. I do not have to work and i have so much free time on my hands.
Well,I say I have free time, I could wash clothes, clean, organize closets, clean out my dirty car..

Great!!
You can quit forever!
Make up you own mind and go one day at a time.
Each day gets easier.

time you me. Sunday, today will be another challenge..
TOO laid back for me.. too much time on my hands..
I need to find a project?
Maybe I'll just take a nap and dream of the places i would rather be.

Great way to look at your quit!!
I have only quit once in my life for a week. I have never really wanted to (mentally) i guess??
Sushik
one hour at a time, one day at a time.. It has worked for me.
Be prepared for your triggers and stay true to yourself.. YOU CAN DO IT!!!
I keep telling myself that a cig will not change the sistuation or make my life better.. Being a NON smoker will change my life in so many positive ways!!!
lots of luck

You are not the only one.
I just got off the phone w/ a friend repeating everything
you just typed.
I thought maybe a should go to AAA treatment facility and stay for a couple of months.. I have to get over this anger, bad attitude, wanting to cry or scream at my children..
I am taking naps
I am drinking water
I am chewing gum
I am keeping myself buzy
The normal side of me knows that I can breath now and I could not before i quit..
These feelings have to end.. so many people have quit and they look and act normal..???

mama
hope your shower was refreshing!!
Get comfy and watch re-runs of "law and order", one of my favorites!
My first two weeks were hard and today has been a little tough, but i am trying to get off the nic gum so I can get this crap out of my system for good..
I feel like the nic.. is just like a ball and chain!
My hat is off to you, that you have smokes in your house. I would
have already fired one up.My husband smokes but i ask him to lock his in his car and not to smoke in front of me for a while.
good luck!

Hi Rabbit
Good luck!!
I am also 45 with only 3 children and they are so very proud of me.
I can not believe that you have not had any cravings to smoke. I am headed into my 3rd week and everyday is a different struggle. I have my own business and my husband travels 5 nights a week.. so my stress level is over the top. But i function better under stress.
Just need to find another way to cope other than food.
I may have put on 10lbs in the past few days, i refuse to weight in.. I need to stop smoking!!
