oh someone help

smokeis gone if you are afraid of failure, just don't tell anyone. I have been working up to this for over a year and I did not tell anyone about the quit until about 4 days into it.. I still can not beleive that "I am a NON SMOKER"!!! My dearest friend is a dr. and she has talked to me for over a year about not smoking. I have tried so many different ways to stop over the past 12 months. This is it and this support group has been great. Good Luck YOU can do it when you decide!! If I can anybody can. mon My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/22/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 16 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 338 Amount Saved: $48 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 17 Mins: 47 Seconds: 54

A totally new day

wow mama I am so impressed!! I don't think i could have been around smoking and not had one. I am staying away from one of my best friends for over 2 week so that I can stay sane and not smoke. bermuda good job!! The worst week is over!! this is the first day without any nic gum or patch.. Nothing!! Ithas not been very easy. I was at work so all I could do was eat and drink or chew gum.. I did all of that. I wished I had gone cold turkey to begin with.. But maybe I would not have made it this far if I had not had some help. Don't Know. 27 days and still craving?

Breaking Free thanks for the infor.. But at 9:00 last night I stuck another piece of nic gun in my mouth. I know that is better than a smoke. I am ready not to crave sooooo MUCH! I will have the gum with me today but I would like to do without!! mon My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/22/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 16 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 327 Amount Saved: $48 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 16 Mins: 22 Seconds: 24

27 days and still craving?

this question is to anyone Do your cravings stop quicker if you do not use nic relplacement... I am off the patch after 10 days and now chewing gum (4) pieces a day?? If so I may just leave that off.. I am ready not to have so many cravings during the day. mon My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/22/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 15 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 316 Amount Saved: $45 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 14 Mins: 59 Seconds: 27

I Quit!

I QUIT So sorry for your loss.. My real reason for becoming a non smoker is beacuse i can not breath!! Just with one week behind me i feel the difference. The best advise that i got was to wait 5 min. after each craving before i looked for a cig.. thank goodness i do not have any... It seems to be working and the craving seem to only last about that long. BE positive... you can do it My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/22/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 8 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 176 Amount Saved: $24 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 21 Mins: 46 Seconds: 18
