What did you learn today?

Hugss4u, there is also a product called "DAP" its in a spray can with a little straw.  you spray in in gaps and it expands quite large.  May be a good idea instead of the foam you are using???? just a thought

update

I started to see a councillor two week ago and have seen her twice.

The first visit went ok and made me realize that i do nothing that takes myself happy but always do for others.

The second session, i feel like she didn't listen at all.
I told her how i had suicidal thoughts, how i hated how ugly i was, how i can't do anything right, how I'm not good at anything, how my past upsets me, how people in my life now that are family upset me.

All she said was drive to the grocery store, sit in the lot and go in when you are ready.

I told her i can go places and do things but my  chest is tight and i don't feel good and feel like I'm gonna panic.
She didn't comment or address anything else i told her and i felt like she wasn't listening.

Is this a good thing or bad thing? should i keep going back to her?  i

Thank GOD i am seeing a psychiatrist this week.

My anxiety is was worse at night and i need to take pills to help me sleep and most nights i sleep on the couch instead of with my hubby.

I feel like I'm loosing control.

Introduction

i am in no way an expert…. i have been "helping myself" by doing the following religiously:
clean diet..no fried food, dairy(hormones), sugars, caffeine or alcohol
I practice deep stomach breathing ( i guess you could call it meditating) with relaxing music every morning before getting out of bed.
finding an activity that i enjoy and DOING IT..no excuses

im not cured of my anxiety but I am not having all out panic attacks like i did…its in there just under the surface but i am learning to control it.

This may sound silly to some, but there is a herbalist in town ( the healing Hallow)  she makes "potions" for all sorts of stuff.  I have been visiting her and taking her "spirit of the rockies"…its for a calming.  I just rub it on my feet twice a day.  i can't say for sure it is working…but since i have been using it , my panic level and frequency and certantly lowered.

severe health anxiety

Well…I'm am 32.
I have been experiencing symptoms such as yours for a few years now.  it has gorton the worst it has ever been the last few months.
Googling symptoms, obsessing over them, going to the doctors…Im convinced its my heart and have stopped going to the gym and working out…heck, i can't even work at the moment.
I  have had ECG, MRI, blood work, stress test, chest X-ray …they tell me that i am fine heart wise and it is likely anxiety.  I ma now going to my first psychologist today and have been in counciling for a few weeks.
I'm slowly convincing myself its not my heart but now i am onto other ailments and its very much controlling my life…so the point of my story is you are not alone.  If the doctor tells you its fine…it probably is.
However, if you mean chewing tobacco (smokeless) that  is a whole other kettle of worms i won't even open at the moment.
With anxiety, it is so very important to eat right, hydrate and EXERCISE…so something you enjoy and complete the daily learning logs here on this site.
As Forest Gump would say " that's all i have to say about that".
