Feeling much better today!!!

I woke up in a much better mood,and feel good today,alot stronger too..I have not had to take anything other than a tylanol..i did notice this morning,iam gaining my appitite back,as i was hungry!
Also,when i done my hair today,it seemed to have some body to it,for the first time in a while!!!
I hope this means my new thyroid meds are kicking in!!!!!!!
I also hope this means iam on the upswing!!!

Very stressful day!!!

I have had one of those days were you just want to SCREAM!!!
Anyway..i did have to break down and take half a zanax this morning..
But,,,i have been doing good at working on my fears,and anxiety, been doing ok till today..i guess everyone hits a bump in the road somewear??

Today has been better,i did have a small episode,but got busy triming roses!!!
Other than that ok,i did wake at 4am,couldnt get back to sleep,watched tv, and wrote in my journal...
But it has been cooler !
No,darn it..i didnt scream,,next time i will, just might work!!!!!!!!!!

Starting out a wonderful day!

I finally got a good nights sleep and rest....man did that feel good!!
Woke up refreshed...
Today..is going to be a me day...go for a walk,its cooler today,find a good book, and start reading to improve my state of mind,exchange a blouse i bought last week,,so iam going to stay focused on myself,good thoughts about myself,and today!!
I am NOT  going to focus on problems,anger,fear,resentments, or anything negative today!!!!!!!!!!!

Effects of Massage Therapy on Stress

I am in physical therapy,and this is done twice a week on me,and it is very helpful and relaxing too!!!

I did everything i set out to do!!!
Then came home, rested,then went outside,cleaned my car very good, done the matts in the car too!!!
It was a workout!
Then hubs went to the car wash and vacumed and washed it...looks good too!!!

Recognizing the Types of Anxious Thoughts

Last night,i struggled to get to sleep as anxiety was trying to move into my mind..but, i told myself..its only anxiety,it will pass,iam alright,and started talking to my mind,and focusing on calming thoughts..i did not get up out of bed,i did not pace the floor,i did not medicate myself,i did not allow myself to do this,,instead..i started deep breathing,and talking to myself,about good things,and beautiful places,relaxing as best i could,and yes..it did fall to sleep,as next thing i know..its morning!!!!!
 
I do know,that sometimes this may not work,,but iam moving forward!!!!!

Getting to Know the Members

Good quistion...
I too love nature,as i am getting back into my walking,and i hear the birds singing,morning sun on my face,smell of pine trees,flowers, fresh cut grass, that makes my day!!!
I do love to talk as today i stoped in an seen a neighbor, to see how he was doing as he lost his wife last year,and we sat on his deck,and talked,he showed me his paintings..i was shocked!!
I didnt know he painted such beautiful paintings!
He also gave me fresh lettuce from his garden..that was such a nice visit!
I also like to read, have quiet time,sit on my own deck,watch the deer come into my yard and eat, as i do set out things for them..i also have a wild racoon that ive seen this week too,lots of rabbits and squrrels too..
I like to learn about and read about healthy life styles,as i am all about holistics..
So,thats me..down to earth person..
When i was younger,i loved to ride horses,go to the mountians,go down curant rivers!!!

Where to Start

I have only been here a few times,but find it very helpful to me on my journey back to health..
I am learning,or trying to learn all i can about my anxiety,and how to overcome it,this is a refuge for me right now,my own support system so to speak..
I am working the program, and it very interesting to me,helps me learn more about me!
