Cobenfan,
Great post for all of us, and especially our friend Peterpan...

Dear Cobenfan,
Your post was very upliftting, yet a tiny bit discouraging. I have talked to other former smokers in the past, who have admitted to how difficult it was, but after sometime, they "seem" to have it licked.
I guess what I'm trying to say, the idea of it always being this hard is very frustrating.
Will it ever get easier? Or are we stuck with this anxiety forever?
feeling blue,
Sous
P.S. I have just started my toolbox, I don't know how to show my milage.any pointers for a computer dummie?
Dear Cobenfan,
Thank-you for your reply,it was quite moving, We have a long road ahead of us, it's very intimidating at times. During these first few days it has been very easy for me to forget why I decided to do this in the first place. But reading what you and others say helps alot.

Sous,
Try not to think in the long term, focus on the here and now and take it one smoke free day at a time.
To show your quit meter, check the box at the bottom of each reply or make the change in your personal profile. Your personal profile is located in your glove compartment.
