New Monday Stats Parade

9 years ago 0 2778 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Although it's Tuesday, I'm going to march in this parade to strut my 2274 smoke-free days!  I'm hoping to get to the parade early next week!

Hey Bob!!!  I am so happy and relieved to hear the great news!  I had the same scare a few years back and had the same tests and results.  This is a great testament to how our bodies CAN reverse a lot of, if not all of the damage that smoking causes!  Quite right... a million more days to go, buddy!!!

Joining the parade with my 3470 days.

It's a windy but sunny day here in Carcassonne, but temperatures are unseasonable low!  Yuk!

Duffis, I am so pleased for you...You deserve that good news.   Happy Parade Day to everyone!

I'll join the parade with 2015 smoke free days!  It's a beautiful sunny day here in Columbus, so it's a great day for parades and remembering those who protect our freedoms all over the world.  And Duffis, so glad to hear the tests came back ok!  What a great medical report to show no COPD and that your lungs are healthy!

May is almost gone yet it is still time to march to the drum of not smoking. 3389 days quit and a million more to go. I had previously posted that I had not escaped the ravages of smoking. A CT, PET/CT and CTA revealed that I did not have a Tumor on my left lung, it was just scar tissue from any number of possibilities. They credit my not smoking for the past 9 years. So I do not have COPD and my lungs are healthy. If you have any doubt as to what not smoking can do for your health send me a post and I'll answer any of your questions. Happy parade day folks.

holding out prayers for you.  As with most of the people here, you were here when I first thought about quiting, and you were still there when I found success.   Just wanted you to know how much I appreciated the help and encouragement that you gave to so very many of us.           No Joking, Still not smoking!!!   Cherryl

Hi Duffis,

Sorry to hear that you've got some bad news.

Glad to hear of your decade of freedom. No matter what's going on now, you have had 10 years of better health, freedom from addiction, and various other improvements in quality of life. Quitting is such a great gift that we give ourselves.
