Cigarettes Not Smoked

Hi Penguin Way to hang in there, some days are very emotional. Sometimes it's good just to get a sad movie and a big box of kleenex and while you are "crying over the movie" - cry a little for yourself and how you feel. Then when you get up from the couch and blanket, you leave the sorry for yourself under the couch cushion - where it belongs. Sometimes we just need to get this pent up frustration out. As Healer always tells us - be kind to yourself. It really works, I love that. Penguin, Your story really hit me. I only had my dad who smoked, but he quit about 17 years ago. I used to steal his smokes too. I know those kinds who will never quit. And don't even want to hear about it. My hubby's family are those kinds. But to sit back and have to watch them do that to theirselves, must be terrible. Out of this, I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for the picture of how I would have been to my kids. They would have had to watch me poison myself, to my death. Thank you for making my choice crystal clear. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 57 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,724 Amount Saved: $186.39 Life Gained: Days: 4 Hrs: 15 Mins: 0 Seconds: 43

Judy - You are doing so well. Your strength on day 4 was amazing. I know that you are going to own this quit forever. I too have in-laws that smoke like fiends - it's so sad. But reality sets in and you have changed the future for yourself. You will be smokefree for yourself and your family. Great Job!
