Finding quiet time for me,going for a walk in my local park near the river..its quiet,and i can hear the birds sing,and the water sounds are southing to me there...I so agree,headphones are great too!

Hi Vincenza,
I feel like a dinosaur saying this, but I have put on headphones.  I used to always use earplugs when I was younger, but it's not good for the ears.  I think that's why the large and non-invasive phones are back in vogue.
 
Home is quiet now, and the kids next door probably are using headphones too, since they're teens and they're on the cusp of technology. 
 
The quality of sound is better with headphones, even though I use old ones, compared to just listening to a laptop speaker/built in.
 
Waking up earlier is another way, since the world's noises start later
