Well, I have to admit, I have found the exposure aspect of the program difficult (I knew, though, that to feel better, I'd have to work at it). Today, I placed myself in situations that are usually triggers and I was able to feel the anxiety kick in, but I could relax each time and challenge my thoughts. I did this in 2 situations and felt so proud and positive, I kept going! I even went to the mall and stood in two lines! So, once I started feeling positive, it snowballed! I thought today was going to a real bomb-out, as I was feeling freaked out before I even left the house. But, a successful day hopefully will lead to more of a willingness to continue with exposure.
