Sorry I missed your 2 week milestone, CONGRATULATIONS!  How are you doing today? You are into the blah weeks now if you are still with us as a quitter. Hope everything is going good for you.
Stay strong.

Hi Zoom,
Welcome to the Stop Smoking Center website.  Congratulations on being smoke free for a whole week already too! Don't worry about the weight gain, there's going to be plenty of time to shed those pounds you are gaining now. Once you have your quit well under control, then you can work on those pounds. Stopping smoking and staying quit should be your highest priority right now. It causes the most damage to your body.  What a great motivation you have for quitting too, someone keeping track, and if you're successful, they'll try and quit too.  "Wish everybody good luck in this tough confrontation with the tobacco addiction!" Nicotine sure is a terribly addictive drug like you said. I wish you the best on your quit journey to freedom from addiction. Keep us updated with your progress too okay?
Stay Strong.

Going well so far. One of my motivations/drivers is a friend who is looking at me to check if i will be successful so that he quits too. Strange way for added motivation but it helps to be a model for someone else, high expectations from people around us...
Anyhow, I am going for it, I am gaining some weight but will ditch it off through gym and hopefully some sailing as I am taking my first practical course this season, looking good so far!!
Wish everybody good luck in this tough confrontation with the tobacco addiction!!
