Hi Enviroguy,

Congratulations on giving up smoking! Have you tried to quit before? You might want to start a new thread so can follow your progress. 30 years sure is a long time to have smoked. I smoked for 37 years before I gave it up. Keep us updated on your progress. We are here to give you all the support we can. I wish you the best on your quit journey.

Today will be my first full day without a single puff. The start of every day moving forward smoke free. I am stoked as I have smoked for over 30 years and I am tingling with excitement to finally end my slavery to the cigarette.

This is the start of day two and I am feeling strong. Still battling some cravings but between this site and my readings I am happy to be free from the slavery to cigarrettes.

Hi HK
Hows the quitting going? Ive seen your posts and you seem really pumped to do this and thats the most important part l found - determination is everything. 40yrs is a long time, for me it was 26yrs, also a long time. Are the patches working for you? Remember cravings come and go.
