Hey Lisa

Straws were a crave saver for me.  I had a real issue with breathing properly early in the quit and if I forced myself to breathe through the straws I found I would get deeper breaths. And it helped with the hand-mouth issue.  In fact I still have a stash of straws at home and work for when I'm having one of those days.  Have been reading up on your journey so far.  I know you've had some tough going these first days and am very proud of you.  It has been said a few times here  "This task is not for the feint of heart".
Congrats to you on coming this far and know that we are rooting for you.

chew some other gum, mints or   ice.. i chewed on ice chips, frozen juice bars or fudgesicles.. getting my mouth.. frozen.. really helped.  i kept bottles of water with me every where.. The water also helps to gert the toxins out of your system.

You are doing great.... :D
