Hey Jacqui!!

Way to throw the death weed away and get back with the program!!!  I'm really proud of you, as will everyone else be!!

You know that we are not the judgemental ones here!  We are all here to support one another unconditionally!!!   As far as the quit meter, it is totally up to you!!!  It's YOUR quit meter and you can do with it as you wish!   All we want from you is for you to post and wait for the responses before you even think about smoking again!!!

Also, don't beat yourself up about the slip up!! I'm sure we've all had slip-ups on previous quits!!  Just get that positive attitude going again and be that great quitter that we all know you can be!!!    N O P E!!!!

Dear Jacqui,

Please, please don't let the nico-demon win after the great quit you've got under your belt. Please recognize it for what it is junkie talk/thinking and answer him appropriately. Remember you do have a choice---and you are chosing NOT to smoke.
We are all pulling for you--and want you to take a strong hold on your quit--and chase the nico-demon away. This may be his last strong harrah.....you may be so close....don't give up now.....

Stay strong, Deb

Jaqui,  I made the mistake after not smoking for almost three months and had a few drinks and thought one smoke won't hurt.  Boy was I wrong and now here I am wripping the hair out of my head asking myself why because I have to go through all the nasty cravins both mental and physical all over again.  Just keep saying to yourself that you really don't want that cigarette.  It's actually something else you want.  The night I started smoking again I was drowning my sorrows after a blow up with my boss.  Had a few drinks and remembered how well the beer went with the cigarette.  Stupid me took one from my significant other.  Now 2 months later after starting again I'm back to zero and starting all over.  I could kick my self.  Don't make the same mistake that I did.  If I  would have said NO the day after my little pitty pary I would have been smoke free for 5 months now.
Hang in there.  You can do it.  N.O.P.E.
