I agree 100%...If you want to quit smoking, the best thing that you can do is come on board and start sharing your experience...You will find that there are individuals with whom you will resonate here...It is actually quite an interesting demonstration of the law of universal returns. As you grow in your new freedom, you will share with and aid others along the way. This in turn will strengthen your spirit as you move on to higer and higher levels of liberation. This journey is all about going "further up and further in" (thanks to CS Lewis on that one)...Much of the addiction lies in the mind, in the form of learned behavior and also in some cases (I am raising my hand) as a form of self medication...I am a prime example of an addict who smokes to dampen emotions and mitigate the symptoms of depression. I have had to put myself through an extreme form of behavior modification (not recommended for sane individuals)...in order to get this far...And I AIN'T GOING BACK...for nuttin'...
This is one rough addiction and you need all of the help that you can get in order to overcome its effects. By writing about your travels here, you will be diffusing your pain, as it will be heard and recognized by many individual readers. You will come to know very quickly that you are not alone and that others are struggling too. And it is that understanding that will help you move forward...
So roll up, roll up if you are ready to go "further up and further in"
