Short goodbye for now

Kayla - we look forward to seeing you back in a few weeks. In the meantime, while you do smoke, pay attention to how it makes your body feel. To the smell on your clothes, hands, hair and breath (even if you can't smell that yourself, others can!) Compare it to how much better you felt physically when you were quit. Hold on to these thoughts to help motivate you when June 21st rolls around. :) I speak from experience - I had a similar 3 week break after about a month or so quit and this time it has been soooo much better! I've been on both sides and the quit side is the place to be! Sorry to hear, Kayla, but we'll see you back again in a few weeks, right??? Don't give up on the quit completely, even if you feel you have to set it aside for now. -Nilbey My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/29/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 3 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 75 Amount Saved: $20.25 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 5 Mins: 34 Seconds: 29

Ok I gave up on my quit and have gone back to smoking. I've beaten myself up and feel beaten down. I have set June 21 as my new quit date since my daughter will be away for 2 weeks and hopefully with the help of therapy and a parental break from my daughter I can learn better coping skills on how to handle stress and anger without reaching for a smoke. I won't be far and will keep reading everyday in the meantime. I don't want to wait too long to restart my quit so I don't forget how I was able to smell and breathe better. Sorry for me being such an idiot and having that one smoke that led me right back and letting all of you down. Thanks for all the advise and help you've all been. See you on the 21st. xxxxoooo My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/16/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 77 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,695 Amount Saved: $847.00 Life Gained: Days: 7 Hrs: 8 Mins: 10 Seconds: 41
