Hi chops,
First of all, congratulations on your decision to quit! One of these days soon, you will realize its one of the smartest things you ever did.
My thing has been chewing gum. It really replaces the whole oral fixation thing for me, and whenever I feel like lighting up, I pop a piece of gum in instead.
The other really, really important thing I did: I parked my sorry, nicotine-addicted tush in front of the computer, came to this site and read and read and read and read. I found other people's stories inspirational, and discovered that a lot of people had gone through what I was going through right then, and as horrible as it was, they came through it and were really glad they did. If they could do it, I could. And so can you!
A lot of times, by the time I finished reading, a crave (or five) had come and gone.
I'm sure the others here will have a lot of good suggestions.
We're all rooting for you!
